We are based in Cape Town and primarily service the greater Cape Town metropolitan area and surrounds. For larger framework or multi-phase projects, we can consider work further afield by agreement.

We typically price from drawings, specifications and site inspections. All quotations are itemised, and any variations are discussed, measured and agreed in writing before the work proceeds so that costs remain transparent and predictable.
Are you insured and compliant with statutory requirements?
Yes. FCE is a registered company with CIPC, listed on the Central Supplier Database, registered with the NHBRC and the Compensation Fund. We also align our site practices with health & safety and COCT framework requirements.
Can you work in occupied buildings with residents on site?
We have extensive experience working in occupied apartment blocks and sectional title schemes. We sequence work to minimise disruption, keep common areas clean and safe, and communicate in advance with trustees, managing agents and affected residents.
What is the typical process to get a quotation from FCE?
Share your drawings, scope notes and photos with us, or request a site visit. We then review the information, clarify any risks or assumptions, and issue a written quotation with a clear scope, programme indication and exclusions where relevant.
Do you provide design and engineering, or only construction?
We are a construction and remedial contractor and typically work with appointed engineers, architects and specialists. Where required, we can recommend independent professionals to complete design and engineering so that the works are properly detailed and certified.
